Nizamia Andalusia Kindergarten celebrated Language Week 2025 through Fairy Tale Week 2025, themed "Today’s Tales, Tomorrow’s Great Characters." This event was part of the school's literacy program aimed at nurturing children's love for reading while allowing them to enjoy stories in a fun and engaging way.
Stories that Spark Children's Imagination

Throughout the week, children took part in various fairy-tale-themed activities — from listening to stories told by teachers, reading aloud for friends, to watching performances by storyteller communities. The classrooms transformed into worlds full of imagination, where characters came alive through the voices and expressions of the young storytellers.
One of the most anticipated moments was when parents came to the classrooms to read stories for the children. With simple costumes and props, the atmosphere became warm and full of laughter. The children listened attentively, imagined vividly, and even acted out their favorite characters. Through these activities, children learned to tell stories confidently, appreciate their friends, and develop empathy and honesty.
Meaningful Collaboration Between Home and School

The Principal of Nizamia Andalusia Kindergarten, Ms. Pocut, shared,
"Fairy Tale Week is a precious moment that nurtures a love of reading while strengthening collaboration between parents and the school. The participation of parents in storytelling is always something to look forward to each year. Thank you for your togetherness and support, because the best education grows from strong cooperation between home and school."
Similarly, Ms. Fersacalia, one of the parents, expressed,
"Fairy Tale Week at NAK is always highly anticipated. Not only teachers and students, but parents also take part. This activity helps children become more confident and think critically, especially when they read their favorite books."
Building Great Character Through Stories

Through activities like Fairy Tale Week, Nizamia Andalusia Kindergarten strives to provide meaningful and joyful learning experiences for every child. Listening, reading, and storytelling are not only literacy activities but also ways to nurture imagination, empathy, responsibility, and polite communication skills.
The school extends its appreciation to all teachers, parents, and students for their enthusiasm and participation. The support of everyone involved plays an important role in creating a positive, trustworthy, and inspiring learning environment at Nizamia Andalusia Kindergarten.
